Summer Card Game

$150.00

I based this little painting on a photo of my niece and her husband playing cards at the family lake cabin — they’re both much better looking irl than I could possibly convey here, but I loved the postures and the look on her face and wanted to give it a go. If you’re a painter, you might relate to how fun it is to play with color and form, changing it up and not trying for exactitude. No one could ever accuse me of being a realist painter; head too big for the body, arms not quite there. Oh well, but it was fun!
